Friendster Weirdness

Here are some recent friendster observations of mine:

1. I have discovered that every guy that I thought was gay in high school actually is and they are all on friendster. I have great gaydar.
2. A while back I had this great friend, so great that he followed me to another state (though I think he was just looking for a change of scenery). He was one of those too good looking types and only had one ass cheek due to an unfortunate bike accident. Anyway, shortly after this other state relocation he met this girl who he really liked. We all worked together at the same shitty place. For some reason she didn't like me so her dating him was contingent on him not being friends with me. Which he did so one must ask the question - how good of friends were we really? It was all very strange and unpleasant and was the first experience I really had of someone who wasn't a boyfriend just totally turning on me. Although we lived in the same house, we weren't speaking until I asked him to leave by note which was a little chicken of me (I could have handled it a lot better but I was very young). I guess they are married now which is good for them but I am four degrees separated on Friendster from the girl. I don't like the idea that I could possibly be friends with someone that would be a friend of a friend of hers. Luckily for me I operate under an assumed name. Oddly though, I do often think about him and wonder how he is doing. If I had to guess I would assume he is doing well but leading a pretty boring life - he was so good looking that he never had to work for anything so he just became very comfortable with never making any sort of effort.

This actually leads me to a totally different topic that has been on my mind lately - friendships with guys. Okay as I have started to think about it I realized that it would require far too much typing to type up everything I want to say right now. This thought will be continued tomorrow.

House Update

So the inspection was yesterday and went pretty well. The downstairs bathroom does work so I guess I was wrong about that. It is a good thing to be wrong about. My kitchen floor is a little bowed so I will have to get to the bottom of that.

Salmonella

I didn't get any food poisoning. It was just me being a psychotic.

Income Tax

I was finally able to do my tax returns today. Between federal and two states, I am getting back $2600! I am going to use that money to put new hardwood floors in my house.
