New York - How I hate to love you...
So I am in New Rock!, yet again, for work. Though this week is a little weird because I am working some almost graveyard shift. I could get into a long explaination of what and why but, believe me, you don't care. I just woke up and it is about 2pm here and the city is gray, grey, gray - and judging from my curly hair I would probably guess that it is pretty humid out.
Yesterday was so beautiful the temperature was perfect and it wasn't hot at all. I went out to dinner with my friend pete and got to listen to him relay his entire dating history which was peppered with two hilarious phrases "That doesn't happen to Pete" and "She was sweet on me". The latter being probably one of the most endering things about pete. Much like an 80 year old man, everytime he talks about someone having a crush they are "sweet on". I also had this really good pasta that had a pesto based sauce (but not oily) with beets and artichokes. It was at some random place in the west village that I can't remember the name of.
Right now I have to do a little work but after I think I am going to do a little shopping at my favorite of discount stores, Century 21. I really shouldn't be buying anything because I just spent like a $2,100 on school tuition but if a girl wants to shop, there is really no stopping it. I also apparently forgot to pack enough socks and underwear so if I don't do some shopping today, it will be bad news.
I had a dream on the flight out that the plane was crashing and I thought it was hysterical. I woke up from the dream and still thought it was funny. It almost seemed like a little part of me was sad that the plane wasn't crashing because in my dream it was so hilarious.
